About BarQ
Barq is a UAE startup built with one mission, to redefine the student experience across the country. We started by deploying our power bank vending machine network across university campuses, giving students fast and reliable access to charging on demand.
Now we are focused on our flagship product, StudyMate, the UAE’s own AI study app powered by K2, the national AI model. StudyMate connects to Ministry of Education course content and instantly generates flashcards, quizzes, and smart study plans in Arabic and English. No uploads. No setup. A student simply enters their schedule, and they get a fully tailored learning system built for them.

Abdulaziz is a passionate entrepreneur and university student who founded Barq to solve a daily problem faced by thousands of students – running out of battery.
His vision is to bring convenience, innovation, and smart solutions to campus life.
